Policy Tracking

Policy tracking means following an application from submission to issue, delivery, and payment of commission. Agents use carrier portals and CRMs to see status and open requirements.

Why it matters

Many deals stall because of a missing signature, an unanswered health question, or a failed payment. Tracking helps an agent act fast and keep the family informed. It also helps predict commission timing, which depends on the carrier and contract. Agents track delivery, free look, and not-taken policies too. Clear tracking lowers the number of cases that lapse before they are paid.
